EMPLOYMENT opportunity

 

  1.  Background

The Government of the Republic of Uganda received support from the International Development Association of the World Bank towards the Competitiveness and Enterprise Development Project – Land Component (CEDP AF - LC) under the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development.

 

The Ministry wishes to invite suitably qualified Ugandan citizens (candidates) to fill the positions of: Surveyor, Cartographer, Physical Planner, Land Officer, Registrar of Titles, Data Entry Clerk, Records Officer, Administrative Assistant and Information Technology Officer. Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in any related field from a recognized Institution
Working Experience
Working experience of one (1) year in relevant Data Entry
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Head of Section for performing the following duties:-

a)     To receive Survey, Mapping, Physical Planning, Land Administration and Registration documents and verify the quality of the documents for intake and scanning according to the standards and guidelines;

b)     To review compliance of the documents for intake and scanning according to the standards and guidelines;

c)     To prepare to intake and scan the documents;

d)     To prepare to intake and scan data and information for records;

e)     To prepare, complete and commit the transactions for delivery;

f)      To document and record poor quality documents by village and forward to the Supervisor;

g)     To provide technical support to the team;

h)     Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
